Why Yoga?

Yoga is the union of the mind and body. Breath and movement link each pose. Resulting in a moving meditation yoking the mind with the body. Through this ancient practice one may utilize active breathing and subtle energy locks in the body, creating inner heat, increasing flexibility and protecting from injury. Students are encouraged to work at their own pace and modifications are given to meet individual needs. Yoga is not about being flexible but becoming flexible, in all areas of life. Come play, breath and relax into your body. Namaste
